I found a technology school called DigiPen. One of their courses is game programming. Some of the project get released on the website. A few have even won independant game dev awards. So far two games have caught my eye: Bontago (which seems like cometetive Jenga) and Ice Wars (which looks like worms but you give every unit their orders before the action phase is triggered.) They also do 3d modelling and have a couple of galleries of student animations which might be fun!
You know... I could have split that up into about two or three separate posts and really boosted by blog score there!
