Work Your Proper Hours Day - Friday 25th February 2005
IT workers put in more unpaid overtime than almost any other profession, according to the TUC (Trades Union Congress). The organisation is calling on managers to recognise the extra time their staff puts in, and has declared Friday 25 February "Work your proper hours day".

This is doing the rounds (even inside HP, so I hear). Source unknown, but I'm sure there'll be a press release from Xerox in the coming weeks announcing that this wasn't supposed to 'leak' from their ad agency.

You may have seen these before. It's some advent animations that the weebl guys did for christmas. One for each day of advent.

OK, this red vs. blue lark on the blog is getting boring. Hasn't anyone else got anything (interesting/exciting) to say? ;)

Here's a few things I've had queued up.

I haven't blogged about Weebl and Bob since October, so to bring you up to speed on the History of the World series:
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 1
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 2
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 3
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 4
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 5
History Of The World According To Weebl And Bob - Part 6

Also, you may have missed:
Captain
Ouch (- he's a boarder!)

Next, there's my film update. If you watched the Superbowl (*yawn*) you might have seen the trailer for War of the Worlds. Steven Spielberg teams up with Tom Cruise to bring us that old H. G. Wells favourite. Opens end of June in the US, ready for the 4th July holiday (always a lucrative move that brings out the worst films). I still quite fancy this, though I'm sure the special effects won't be a patch on Red Dwarf: The Movie ;).

Then there's Odd Todd. Odd Todd was on the losing end of the dotcom bomb (I hate that phrase), is now unemployed and writes cartoons about his life. Pretty funny.

And finally, mixed in with a blatant plug for affordable web hosting ;) here's a couple of links for hosting pictures, useful if you decide to blog (hint, hint) a picture or two.
Tiny Pic
Photo Bucket
Image Shack

And for sharing those larger files, why not go the whole hog and have your own BitTorrent tracker?

Right, that's enough from me for now. "Time for bed", said Zebedee! Night all.

He’s back and he's got a new trick,
Magical Trevor is ten times as slick as the last time,
The last time you saw him,
Now you can see why we really adore him.

:)

A Slovak man trapped in his car by an avalanche urinated his way to freedom after working his way through 60 half-litre bottles of beer.
